Summary: 'Dell Edge Gateway 5000 and 5100 Module Driver Reference for the gateway system components'.
Linux and Windows 10 OS driver modules.
The Dell Edge Gateway 5000 and 5100 platforms listed in the table below have driver support for the Linux and Windows 10 operating system (OS).
- ©2011 Telegesis (UK) Ltd - 8 - ETRX357USB Product M anual (Rev 1.00) 7.2 Macintosh and Linux drivers A Virtual Com Port driver kit for Mac and Linux can be obtained by following the link on our website on the Support Software download page. In addition, one of our customers has written a Lin ux driver that will be included in the 2.6.25.
- Telegesis, a Silicon Labs company, modules are low power, 2.4GHz ISM band transceivers, based on ZigBee / IEEE 802.15.4 solutions. Our module’s unique AT-style command line interface allows you to quickly integrate meshing radio technology without complex software engineering.
- The supplied Windows drivers create a virtual COM Port, so that the command line of the ETRX3 series module can be accessed via any terminal software application. When using Windows® the Telegesis Terminal application can be used as described in the ETRX357 Development Kit manual.

Telegesis Driver
Telegesis modules are low-power 2.4 GHz ISM band transceivers based on EM35x single chip Zigbee / IEEE 802.15.4 solutions. The unique AT-style command line interface allows developers to quickly integrate meshing radio technology. Due to the evolution of the Zigbee and Thread (OpenThread) protocols, Flash and RAM requirements have increased. I've used the Telegesis ETRX2 modules and they are really easy to use. The USB stick is just one of these powered off the USB port of your PC, providing a virtual comm port to communicate through. Just issue the AT commands to the comm port that the driver sets up. If you get stuck, their tech support is good and gets back to you within a few.
