How it works
Acclaro software employs chemometric algorithms to process sample spectra and differentiate dsDNA absorbance from RNA absorbance. When the software identifies a contaminant, it notifies users with a yellow triangle next to the sample. Selecting the yellow icon displays the original sample, the contaminant, and the corrected analyte spectra. A table reports the corrected concentration, so you know what contaminant is present and whether to use the sample in downstream experiments. You can proceed with confidence in the rest of your analysis.

Local Control Software (Firmware) Installation Instructions

  1. First download the current English NanoDrop One/OneC Local Control Software V2.1.0 (Oct. 2020) file to an USB device and follow the instructions below. Please do not attempt to unzip the folder. It is zipped and password protected when it is downloaded, because it is not designed to be unzipped.Save the Firmware ZIP file on the root of an USB device (do not save it in a folder of your USB device as the NanoDrop will not find it!).

Instructions to update NanoDrop One/OneC Local Control Software & Help System Files from USB device:

  1. Insert the USB device into any USB port on the NanoDrop One/OneC instrument.
  2. From the instrument Home screen, tap Settings>System>Update Software.
    a) select the version to install and tap Done.
    b) when the installation is complete, the message “Update complete” appears.
    Tap OK.
    The screen will prompt you to restart the instrument. Tap OK
